Avoid eBay Fraud Email – eBay Sell Tip for eBay Sellers

Avoid eBay Email Fraud is a lesson that all eBay Sellers need to learn. If you receive any eBay email, do not click on any links on the email. You need to make sure whether the email is from eBay or simply just an eBay email fraud.

eBay fraud emails look and feel just like emails that send from eBay. The content of emails are also alike - potential buyers looking for answers, eBay special offers, free eBay listings, qualify to be an eBay Power Seller, eBay buyers ask for items that you do not sell, eBay unpaid item from products that you did not purchase, and so on. One of the emails that I received was from a disable buyer who is looking for a wheel chair. Although I don’t sell wheelchairs, but was touch by this email, I did a search and sent information to this buyer via clicking the link on the email. After clicked the link, I was in a site that looks just like eBay login page. Without doubt, I entered my account and password. Guess what! 12 hours later, my eBay listings had a motorcycle for sell. My account and password were stolen. Therefore, do not click on the links on emails that may or may not from eBay. Beware of eBay email fraud - bad people sent all kind of emails just to steal your eBay identity.
